Data Backups

Good Morning

I need to know how to schedule automatic data backups (Complete and Incremental) offline and online in MaxDB 7.8. I have installed Database Studio, but I cant find this option.

Can anybody help me?

I have checked the documents but I still with my doubt, I need to schedule the data Backup in order to make backups automaticaly in some day and hour specify.

You can schedule the backup's from db13.

Hi Edasmar,

you can't schedule data backups from within Database Studio. You can schedule those using R/3s MaxDB admin feature (the abouve mentioned transaction db13). If you like to schedule backups and not using R/3 you need to use operating system means (cronjobs, scheduled jobs) with the MaxDB administration tool dbmcli.

You should be able to perform DB/Log backups with Database Studio.
