Hi,
I am trying to migrate my application from VS2008 to VS2010. It uses Crystalreports. VS2010 does not come with Crystal Reports. I have been trying to install the free Crystal Reports download for VS2010. It fails with the message that there is an incompatible version of Crystal Reports already installed. Does anyone have an idea of the cause?

Hi Jim,
Moved your post to the .NET forum. Click on the link I updated in your post and it will give you more info.
CR for VS 2010 is Beta and will only work on clean PC's. The installer was not complete in beta 2 and the result was it will not work if other versions of CR is installed.
Also, CR for VS 2010 is the ONLY version of Crystal that will be supported in VS 2010.
Next month is the Release date for CR 2010 for VS 2010.
Thank you
Don
