BO 4.2 SP3 License Issue

Hi !

We have a clustered BO 4.1 setup with CMS on Node 1.

Thus, while upgrading to 4.2 SP3, we ran into the issue described in Note 2367507 - After updating SAP BI 4.x to BI 4.2 SP2 or afterwards, one of CMS servers cannot be started in a clustered environment

The steps in the Note did not apply in our case since our CMS is common & on Node 1 & Node 1 was down.

Thus, we had to delete the license using Note 2276413 - Deleting license key from SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform

Our next system in line is Production, where downtime is limited.

Thus, how do we "avoid" the issue listed in Note 2367507...

Can we delete the 4.1 license pre 4.2 SP3 update ?

Please help advise.....
