Hi,
Can anyone please tell me the difference between Navigational and Display attributes ?
How the report differs with selection of navigational attributes ?
Thanks in advance
Prasad.
Hi Durga
a "display" attribute can only be visualized, while a navigational attribute can be used as a characteristic. SO you can use a nav attribute to fileter, to dirll docwn, to delimit ... and so on. A display attribute can only be used to give extensive information about the leding characteristic.
Hope it's clear

hi,
Navigational attributes allow u to further drill down / filter on infoobjects. whereas display attributes are only meant for display and no drill down is possible on them.
A navigational attribute thus has further data associated with it. For reporting purposes a navigational attribute behaves just like another characteristic
