SAP CSR’s corporate giving grant cycle in the US and Canada closed on May 31, 2013. The annual grants cycle is designed to
provide funding and support for charities in SAP locations across North America who fit within the SAP focus areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M) Education and Youth Entrepreneurship. The robust program saw more than 155 grant application submissions for this cycle.
Engaging Employees
With 10 local employee grants committees across the US and Canada, the CSR team works closely with local employees and executives to review and select the most strategic charitable partners for SAP. Each committee member is nominated and represents the many different lines of businesses across SAP. This approach creates a well-rounded committee who helps to support and drive the local partnerships.
SAP makes a difference
In 2012, the CSR team in North America contributed $5 million in charitable giving and impacted more than 380,000 lives through our programs. Plans for
2013 are to better utilize the unique skills of our employees to build capacity and create impact for our partners in areas such as technology development, mentoring and youth entrepreneurship.
Below we are happy to share our 2013/14 grant partners for the US and
