Hi all,
I would like to know the significance of the field ship_depend of the table /sapapo/vs_lcmap.
For which type of shipmetns(in what cases), its value will be 'N'.
In general, what this field indicates?
Hi,
the field indicates if a shipment has other dependent shipments. Dependencies normally occur in hub scenarios - optimizer will e.g. create one shipment to the hub and one from hub to destination location, but from business point of view this is one shipment. As in this case it should not be possible to update one of the shipments without updating the other the system uses the field SHIP_DEPEND to mark all shipments as dependent (all dependent shipments will contain the shipment number of one of the shipments in this field and the 'master shipment' will contain it's own shipment number).
If a shipment has no other dependent shipments the value in this field will be 'N' (the value should never be initial).

Sebastian
