Working with EWM 1709, and we have a requirement related to free goods.
Do you know any standard EWM functionality by which we could create the picking task for the combined quantity of the regular item + the free goods quantity?
Ex: We have two different areas of picking, one for cartons, other for units. Each carton is 400. If we have a delivery item of 400, picking will be in the carton area. But if i have an item of 380, and an item of 20, both will be picked in the area for unit picking, which is not optimal. Combined picking functionality in RF would allow us to confirm these 2 WTs together, but this is not the requirement.
2-step picking functionality can be applied here? Can we use the 2-step picking without using the full 'wave management' functionality? It doesnt apply to our customer. Is there any other alternative or workaround you've worked with?
