Hi
Is there any way where we can do the ATP check in ECC but use GATP Back order program to carry out the redistribution process? Usually we avoid doing this as it causes inconsistency. But what are the challenges one can face if one attempts to do this?
Regards
Rajiv
Hi,
i guess thats not possible,
for BOP in APO, the prerequisite is to activate the ATP Check, ( ATP Customizing, ATP IM).
If you are using ECC for ATP, the why dont use ECC Back order processing?

Rajiv,
BOP in effect is an execution of a mass of availability checks, using special automation techniques designed for BOP. These availability checks are conducted within APO, using APO GATP functionality. BOP has no visibility of ATP checking functionality that may or may not exist in ECC.
After BOP mass processing is done, only then are the results interfaced back into ECC; bypassing any availability checking that might be configured in ECC.
In short, you cannot have BOP in APO without also first having GATP in APO.
