To start a career In SAP

Dear All,

Please  suggest me that  I want to start a career in SAP, i just want to know the authorized training center of SAP in delhi.After completion of SAP training training they provide the placements or not just i want to conform . I visit many centers as per my profile they say you do SAP BO or SAP BASIS. . Please suggest me which module should i do which will better in my future prospects.

Note: I have 4 yrs of experience in Admin & 1yr of Experience as Software. (BE in computers + MBA in marketing)

If you choose SAP BO admin and User security module then you will get job according to your previous profile you have to choose this one is best for you.

Hi Arnab

Generally people go for Atos/ Seimens, LithanHall, BPCL, Delphi, & NIIT

This would end up in a high expense like, MM can cost u 2.5 - 3.8 lacs so on.. Basis is the most expensive Certification 5.5 Lacs, ABAP - 3.5 - 4.5 Lacs. (lower range is for WBT Web Based Training & higher range is for ILT Instructor Led Training)

But again i have seen people inspite of being certified from such places they are still struggling for job, if u wud be regarded as a SAP Fresher (i.e. ignoring the first part of your experience) then on an average you would earn 3-4 lacs... very rarely, one can get 4.5 or 5+

And job is not guaranteed you still have to face 2-3 rounds of interviews and you may be asked to sign service bond also...

Whereas if u r currently working in any IT company that has got its ERP/SAP Section, ask them internally if u can go for it...and may be u get good exposure in that...

You had an experience as Admin (Network Admin ) then SAP BASIS would be your selection.

You have done MBA in Marketing means having functional knowledge in marketing so SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence is the way.

Now it is up to you what to choose?... Both area are wide and good with the best jobs.

I would suggest you should go to SAP Pre-sales jobs, where your technical experience is counted and your education (MBA) is plus point.
