Dear Gurus,

what is planning file in SAP ? Please explain me what's this planning file entry ?when and for which thing i should check the planning file entry?Is the planning file entry is made for materials or some other things also.?

What's the meaning for manual planning file entries?When it's done,what's the impact of this?

How to track the impact of this?

Please tell me the sequence of steps(T codes) and the observations to be made to get  a clear cut idea about planning file entry.
