Hi

Currently FM is proposed for Plant Maintenance budgeting. Need to know whether we can exclude certain order types (especially Capital Investment Order type) from Funds Management Integration, as for these order types budgeting is through WBS element. If possible kindly please let us know the user exits used for this.

Thank you

Kind Regards

Nirmal,

Integration with FM is set at the company code level. This affects posting for commitments and actuals. There is no requirement to budget in FM. You can exempt the orders by setting derivation rules (Tcode FMDERIVE) and budget checking (AVC) rules appropriately.

Thanks

Hi,

As stated above, you won't be able to exclude documents from necessity to provide FM assignment, if you have PM module integrated with FM. If you are not interested in budget control for certain documents, you can assign dummy or statistical commitment items to them using derivation strategy. Shyamal's answer makes it quite clear.
