This past month of May, SAP CodeJam conducted 14 events on six different topics in 13 different cities, 11 different countries, and four different continents. To date, we’ve led 234 events around the world!
SAP CodeJam is a 5 to 6 hours event where a small group of developers get together for an afternoon of networking, learning, and coding in an ultra-casual environment all for free. Attendees get a chance to share and expand their knowledge and collaboratively develop with SAP technologies, platforms and tools under the watchful guidance of an expert. The events are developer community focused and supported by SAP, exploring technologies available through the SAP Developer Center.
Where have we been?

Topic of the month: SAP HANA with IoT
Every event deep dives on a single topic, the idea is to get attendees familiarized with one specific SAP platform or technology at a time. The events this month focused on six different topics:

Out of the 14 events that occurred this month, six focused on SAP HANA with IoT hence making it the most popular topic of the month. With the recent launch of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform for the Internet of Things, developers attending future events will be able to learn how to manage the device lifecycle with features like secure onboarding, remote configuration and receiving device status info via Remote Device Management Service (RDMS), plus collect data from machines and sensors and store it in the HCP persistence layer from which an app can retrieve the data using the Message Management Service (MMS).
