Trending topics are broken

For more then one year I've had the same trending topics... this is impossible:

hi Joao,

one of our developers checked it and seems like things work well. Trending content are calculated according to views / ratings / comments, and it seems like the items appearing there in the last year are ones that have actually topped all others significantly, and hence do not change. We didn't find anything not working properly.

It is a kind of perpetuum mobile - it is trending because it is in the trending contents and everyone clicks it to see why it is trending.

At first I thought that was it, but they have been trending for well over one year. It would be better to measure the "trend" by number of likes or stars.

A year later the Crystal Reports document is still the top SCN post of all times.

This might not be broken technically, but constantly showing the same post for years hardly has any value IMHO. Hopefully this is either improved or done away with in SCN 3.0.
