I replied on an answer I got in the discussion http://scn.sap.com/thread/3342276.
The reply is being moderated since Apr 11, 2013 6:38 PM.
Since everything is moderated I wonder if we can only post between 8:00 and 17:00 on working days.
If so, what timezone. If not, how long is the max before the message is moderated.
Thanks
Eric
Hi Eric,
Currently content moderation is activated on SCN. You are invited to submit your query or post a blog/document at any time regardless of regular working hours/timezone. Dedicated team of SCN moderators continuously working on reviewing the content and provide their feedback when needed.
I understand that your reply mentioned earlier was released within less than 24 hours.
Please reach out if you have further questions.
Thanks,
Oxana

Hi SCN!
Why does it take week(s) or days for a simple response to be moderated? ! It's really frustrating - is there anyway of speeding this process up ? By default all responses should be posted and an option for users to report something as being SPAM rather than some poor SCN member to have to go through hundreds and thousands of post and approve them ! This doesn't need to be posted moderator ! It's me trying to give constructive feedback!
Regards Paul
(lol this will have to be moderated)
Unfortunately the amount of spam that might be posted can be overwhelming and occur during off peak times when there aren't community members available to report spam quickly.
We're relying on our volunteer moderators to very content. By default, new users are fully moderated until they complete some beginner missions to prove their intent.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks for your reply Jason, that is fully understood and also very much appreciated : the need to moderate and eliminate all spam - it keeps SCN above and shoulder any other community site which I'm sure all members and browsers would concur with.
It's also nice to hear that, as members progress and prove their intent on SCN, moderation maybe laxed to some extent.
