Error while doing the Specification Import using CG33

Hello Experts,

I am facing the issue while doing the Specification Import using CG33.

I performed the below activities

1. Uploaded the Simple Dat file(for a UN listed Sub) in AL11.
2. In CG33 i maintained below parameters,
   Exchange profile = Standard
   File with Path = File path from AL11
   Character Standard=UTF-8
   Search Spec Type = 2
   Ident for search=D_IESEARCH
   Logic Link Type= OR
   ID Listing = D_Default
   Spec type=LS_UN_SUB
   User Defined Text Type = RM
   Auth Group = ALL
   Component type = ACT_AGENT
3. First error that i got : Phrase Library Dates are Different.
   So , I have changed the Phrase library date to the same in the current system as per the the source system phrase library date. So this issue gone. (Can we do this way?)
4. So i proceed and scheduled a background job.
   I got the error : Specification not transferred due to error.

Please help me in resolving this issue. It would be very helpful to see the response at the earliest as per the points mentioned above.

And the very important question is, What are the prerequisites to do for Specification import through CG33?

if you do a research in this FORUM you will easily identify that many consultants do have problem in use of "Cg33".

I can only read between the lines:

1. Uploaded the Simple Dat file (for a UN listed Sub) in AL11. ==> which kind of "simple dat" file you are using? How did you generate the "dat" file?
2. How did you "upload" the dat file to SAP ? in which mode? BIN or ASC?
3. Is the spec still existing in the system? I assume not. PLease confirm

But as explained by the others: there are so many "pitfalls" in the process that even the log might not help

BUT YOU WILL FIND MORE; Just do a research here

If you have never used "Cg33" (or the process as such): stop your work. You just waste time. Look for somebody who has done the job and has some experience here; there are to many pitfalls in the game

PPS: for the use of D_IESEARCH: Can you provide the content of this "identification listing"?

Please send the log of Sm37, which gives you the error , there are lot things which may goes wrong , we cannot suggest , please share the log.
