SAP GRC Process Controls Vs. MIC

My query: Whether SAP GRC Process Controls is going to replace MIC (Management of Internal Controls) in SAP or both will continue as independent?

Dear coleague,

SAP said to these customers that MIC has reached maturity as a control documentation and management tool and MIC will not be developed further. And more: SAP will support MIC until 2014 (MIC 2.0 as part of My SAP ERP 2005), 2013 (MIC 1.0 as part of My SAPR ERP2004) etc.

Process Control is part of GRC solution and allows users do activities as the same as MIC and more.

I think it is necessary to migrate from MIC to GRC-PC as soon as possible and stop use MIC.

Hi,

For time being both will continue.Over a long run i expect only GRC to remain.

MIC will be a part of GRC.
