Dear all,
In a BPC report, built with EPM Add In (version 10.1 for NW), you can override a member description in the header. However this override is static.
Is there a chance to set a dynamic override? For instance, let's suppose I have an opening flow (F00 - Opening) and I would like to change the header descritpion according to the year (if year = 2017, then my description should be "Closing balance at 31/12/2016 and so on).
I haven't found any solution to work it out (unless adding an upper row with descriptions in Excel and hiding the BPC report header). Is there an effective way to change the BPC header as well?
Thanks for your help
Best regards

"adding an upper row with descriptions in Excel and hiding the BPC report header" - correct Idea in general...
You can use a local member as a first line of your report were you can have any header using Excel formula. Then hide the real header!

Hi Vladim,
Local Member is a clever idea. However if I have a sheet with different tables (one table below the other) and I hide a row, then if the report above changes dinamically the row count, the one below shifts up/down and a wrong line could be hidden. This is why I was looking for a solution without adding new lines or hiding the actual header.
Thanks a lot
