Hi experts!!
While running a Legal Consolidation package for a new group, I received a status cancelled and a message: "Job or proccess BPCRUNLGC, waiting for event RSPROCESS 49D2A2BMCQUSSFW3R13O694B8 is unknown".
The status of process variant "Run Logic" is red.
I have already setup Account, data source, entity, intercompany and group dimensions for the same group in BPC. And we create a new organization structure and ownership percentages in Ownership application.
Do you have any ideas what the problem could be?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Silvia,
How r u running the consolidation using package or from consolidastion monitor?

Hi Silvia,
Did you configure the currency translation properly and checked it works properly. This is important since when you run consolidation, currency translation to group/sub-group currency is also executed. You can, however, omit it if you do not need it by removing the code from the script.

Kalyan.
Kalyan,
We are not using currency translation here. Could there be another reason for this error?
I have a question about using PARENTHs to configure a copy program: is there any limit to create parenths associated to consolidation groups? We are using parenth13 in entity dimension to associate selected entities to a new group.
Thanks in advance,
Silvia
Hi Silvia,
Since you are not using currency translation did you comment out or removed the currency conversion logic from Consolidation.lgf.
Please make sure that you consolidation.lgf file has only the following lines
*RUN_PROGRAM
CONSOLIDATION
CATEGORY = %C_CATEGORY_SET%
GROUP = %GROUPS_SET%
TID_RA = %TIME_SET%
INCREMENTAL_MODE=
*ENDRUN_PROGRAM
13 hierarchy would not impact the consolidation process.
Question about using PARENTHs to configure a copy program is not clear to me, would you please elaborate.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Kalyan.
