error in sprunconversion "string or binary data would be truncated"

Hi,

Our currency conversion shows "succeeded" in Data manager, and currency is converted

- but the log shows and error: "error running storede procedure sprunconversion ....."

We checked all dimension properties and everything seems fine -then we manually ran the stored procedure SPRUNCONVERSION from sql management studio -and it shows an error "string or binary data would be truncated".

Could someone from SAP please let me know what the script is at:

Level 16, State 2, Line 1 🙂 - version 10.0.13.0

do you set also the Time dim value? why you don't use normal packages from bpc?

Hi Roberto,

I did initially use the normal packages in BPC - but the log showed an error (see new pic).

After this i investigated furthers and found an error in the stored procedure.

Hi Jeppe,

check if you see some more detailed informations on tbllogs.

It seems a name exceed the max length for it or there is some invalid characters inside the flat file.
