Hello I did my Bachelor of Science-maths and MBA with Finance specialization. Now am thinking to pursue a career in SAP Fico... I would like to know the career prospects for a fresher like me in SAP fico... Some of my friends suggested SAP - ABAP and few of them in FICO. Please suggest... Thanking you in advance....

Hi,
read the posts here because many guys ask again and again the same question as you. The answer is always the same: a newcommer has limited opportunities, not only in SAP FI/CO but in any field, because companies want to hire very experienced personnel ... and pay misery salaries.
You better search for an opportunity during your studies. Don´t wait till you´re finished because chances are less every day. It´ll be very dissapointing that you get your title and sit on the street unemployed.

First of all it depends on your interest... If you are interested in programming then go for ABAP and if you are interested in finance then go for FICO, its true that getting entry in sap for a fresher is very difficult but not impossible. Try to get domain experience.. keep trying.. gud luck..
