Transaction SOST hang

Hi People,

When I trying to execute the transaction SOST it takes a infinite loop and terminate with TIME OUT error. I'm the BASIS here and I check the transaction SM50 and I see that every time is reading the SOOS table.

Maybe some of u past this problem some time.... what can I do? Some ideas??

there is SAP Note 798476 for this SOST problem on ECC6. there are other notes for other versions & SCOT transaction.
