Hi
What is SAP GUI 7.300.2.5.1084 means? more interested in .2 and 1084...
Hi Faisal,
The .2 indicates the Compilation that the SAPGUI (or installation server) was installed from, and Compilation 2 is currently the latest for 7.30. The .5 indicates the Patch Level (which is independent from Compilation), and Patch 5 is currently the latest for 7.30 also. The 1084 relates, I believe, to an internal build number, probably only useful to developers at SAP who create the builds and patches for SAPGUI. It likely indicates the highest 'hotfix' rounded up into the patch level, but as you can only download complete patches and not individual hotfixes, it's not highly relevant for most of us.
Best regards,
Matt
