Hi,

What is the Trans code transport Report to Quality system?

if they found some errors in quality, they will assign one more request no? or same request will be maintained for a perticular report?

how exactly it happnes?

check STMS.

based on the Error u can create a NEW TP request.

Programs are Version management, so u will get all old veersions in that program itself.

se38->program->utilities-->version man.

Hi,

Did you check my reply for your RFC Query, check it out and hope it is useful.

When you develop objects, all your objects are assigned to a request and this request is released and transported. After release no changes on the objects on that request can be made. Hence if there is any problem in your QA server, you would be informed the same. Now it`s ur responsibility to rectity the same and your basis would`ve allocated you a new request and you`ll transport the rectified report using ur new request.

Transactions se09 will serve your need.

If everytime they specify new req no, how to track and maintain version management?

Hi,

Versions are different and your request is entirely different. Let`s say you develop a report and activate it, now version 1.0 is generated and is stored in SAP.

You transport the same to your QA Box and if you do some changes in the same program and regenerate it, a new version is generated 1.1. Now if you try to transport the request the latest active version of the object is transported.

Hence, while transporting by default the latest active version is transported.
