Hi all,

We are trying to use the inbound SAP standard ALE scenario SHIPPL to create and update shipments. In create scenarios everything works fine, but on updates, the data we receive from the source system are only the segments that have changes. When the idoc is processed, it wipes out the original data from the shipment leaving only the changed information.

Is this how this program is supposed to work? Our requirement is for the update to just update the fields of the shipment that have changed.

Did you ever overcome this problem? I have the same issue and we are trying to stay with standard SAP IDOC processing. How did you solve this.
