Hi Friends,
I have a requirement, wherein if the net amount in purchase order gets changed, then the release strategy has to be re-triggered. This has to be done on SAP 4.6C.

Atin

Hello Atin,
I could not remember if Version Management (MM-PO) is already available in 4.6C. If it is, then this is a good approach. It's standard and you can decide which fields to trigger cancellation of release strategy. It is also simple to implement.
Best regards,

Hello Atin,
There is a standard functionality in SAP Purchase document called Version Management and you can set the trigger point(fields) for you to reset your release strategy. Upon activating this, you will see an additional tab(Version) in header or line item. You can let your MM specialist to assist you on this also.
I am currently in ECC 6.0 and in SPRO (IMG)you can check Materials Management>Purchasing>Version Management.
Best regards,
