PO Change Idoc PORDCH1 & new line items

Hi,

Hopefully an easy & quick question to answer.

Can you create new PO line items utilising the idoc PORDCH1 ?

Is there any documentation describing the process ?

Please advise.

Hello,

I am not very sure about PORDCH1, because I do not see this IDoc type in my system which is 46C. Perhaps you have other latest SAP release.

You can check this in Tx. WE60 which gives Field level details of any IDoc type. Also you can make trials by using Tx. WE19. But before this the Partner profiles and other ALE settings needs to be done.

Hi,

I am alreday utilising basic type PORDCH01 (sorry not PORDCH1) for changing purchase order header and item field values (this works well).

I am interested to know whether anyone has utilised this idoc to add a new line item to a purchase order ? It is difficult for me to ascertain this through field specific documentation within SAP.

Please advise.
