Multiple Sessions in SAP

Hi SAP gurus

Can anyone please let me know how to resolve the issue where a user cannot log into multiple sessions

Hi Williams,

I am sure you must not be talking about Multiple logons..but wonder if there is any error message that the user is getting for opening multiple sessions...

Plz let us know the pop up or warning etc that it faces out..

Williams,

Please check the value of parameter login/disable_multi_gui_login.If this parameter is set to value 1, multiple dialog logons to the R/3 System (in the same client and under the same user name) are blocked by the system:

When the system recognizes a multiple logon, it displays a dialog

box with the options "Terminate the current sessions" or

"Terminate this logon".

Can you please explain on how to check the value of parameter login/disable_multi_gui_login

You can check the value in RZ11 or RZ10 , go to RZ11 and enter the parameter and it will show you the value.
