Hi Deepak,
LSMW is tool used to transfer data from desktop file to SAP.
The transaction is LSMW.
There are 10 to 14 steps involved based the type data upload selected.
1. We have to create project,sub project and object.
2. Specify the object attributes. Select the Object type :
Standard Type/Batch
Batch Input recording
BAPI(Business Object method)
IDOC(Internediate document)
3. Specify the source structure.
4. Specify the cource fields.
5. Specify structure relationships.
6. Specify the Field mapping and conversion rules.
7. Mention Fixed values, transactions, User defined routines.
8. Specify the source file(with data).
9. assign files path.
10. Read data.
11. Display the read data.
12. Convert data(if any conversions required).
13. Display the converted data.
These are the common steps involved.
