CAn anybody provide me the name of the function module that is attached to OUTBOUND IDoc message type CATS_INSERT02.

Hi Amit!

Mine is a OUTPBOUND one does the FM relates to that.Also i want to know the user exit name and the include name to extend the IDoc.

Hi amit

Actually my requiremnt is to extend the Basic Idoc CATS_INSERT02 and send it on a outbound process to another system through ALE.If i use the BAPi which u referred how can i write my custom code for the extended IDoc.Where shall i include the code.Please advise.IS there any FM in the format IDOC_OUTPUT_... for this?

Hi again,

1. For such requirement,

i think we need to create a new

idoc from scratch

2. Then a whole lot of settings/configuration

is required to complete the whole process.

(Even a new Z FM will be required for

assigning FM to idoc and message type )

3. SALE is the requried tcode for all this.

4. I think u have to look for help

on IDOC and ALE.
