Finding transaction : alternate way of sy-tcode

Hello All,

I want to execute a particular piece of code when the transaction is CO02. One way is to use sy-tcode and check for the transaction. As this is not recommended, I am looking for other methods.

Is there any customising tables/process that I can use to achieve this.

Another way is : When TSTC-TTEXT = Change Production Order,u can execute a particular piece of code.
