Enhancement

hi, i have to get the idea of enhancement , i had gone to SMOD but their is provision only to assign the enchancemt to any project ,but i want to know how to create the enhancement.

please suggest me what to do

HI Deepak,

Got to CMOD and create a project.

In the enhanements..enter any enhancment name which is already avalailble.

you will find its coresponding components .

i think you cannot create an enhancement.

You need to go to CMOD for creating a enhancement project.

Specify a name for your project and press create and assign short text.

then the assign the enhancement.

then in the components select the desired comp and do necessary changes and activate the project finally..

Just go to transaction CMOD. there you can create .

based on the enhancements available in SMOD.

Enhancement are the places where you can generate functionality without changing SAP standard code.

You cannot create your own enhancements. But you can edit and change in existing enhancements....

You <b>can</b> create your own enhancements and use them in your custome programs/transactions. Same as you can create your own BADI definitions.

I thought you could do this as well. I am attempting inside MV45AFZZ by calling customer function '950' and am getting an error, though. I know I did this in 4.6C, but I'm on 4.7 now. Maybe something changed? Can you enlighten me?
