Last Saturday we had 33°C in Berlin, which didn't prevent to fill up the SAP DATA SPACE with around 60 participants and speakers for the third installation of SAP Inside Track Berlin.

This time it actually already started on Friday with an SAP Stammtisch at Brauhaus Lemke, enjoying locally brewed beer and mostly German food. While this was the official pre-event, some participants weren't event aware of sitBER next day. Of course we invited them and all showed up next day to join us.

On Saturday we followed our approach of the last 2 years. At #sitBER there is only a single track, with a total of 8-9 sessions, and plenty of time in between for networking. The sessions were on various topics like Conversational AI, Design Thinking and IoT. The full list of session (incl. slides and recordings) and many more information about the event is available on SCN Wiki.

As in the previous years we made sure that the whole event was live streamed, and all sessions recorded. We worked to improve the mediocre sound quality of last year, with having an integrated audio setup for the stream and the local PA system, which worked out pretty well. All sessions are available on YouTube, same as from the previous years. Please check out the sessions recordings in detail. Making all the content available to everybody is definitely a big focus for us at #sitBER.

It is also worth pointing out that we had 3 sessions with female speakers, our small effort to get a bit more diversity to SAP Inside Tracks 🙂

Here is andrea.pham on "Insights into blockchain consensus mechanisms and their threats".

The session by tudor.riscutia on "Building the RIGHT it before you build it RIGHT" is definitely another one of my favourites of this year.

Thanks to everybody who participated, and especially to bruno.patias.volpi, not_andy and thomas.saueressig to make all of it possible. We had a blast!

Follow us on Twitter or join our Slack to stay up to date with SAP Inside Track Berlin. Hope to see you next year. We will be back (probably) on August 29, 2020.
