Event Remaker 2020 – what is that? Sounds cool, he?
Actually, the year 2020 with this special situation all around the world will stay in our minds for a very long time, maybe forever. I guess it may not have been easy for some of us. Not only getting familiar with the new situation of working from home consistently, but also not attending events in person either. And think about those, who planned a big physical event and are not able to conduct it now. There are even a lot of people who don’t feel comfortable with online meetings and events. But all our activities had to be transformed from physical into virtual from one day to the other. We from the Community & Influencers Team know well, how difficult this might have been for those, who had to change their event: find out the suitable tool to connect, find a streaming platform, inform all attendees about it, and cancel location and other logistics. A lot of stuff to do.
We strongly believe we should shout out a big “THANK YOU” to those community members, who showed courage and accepted the challenge of creating an online event instead of a physical one. And that is where “Event Remaker 2020” comes into place. With the team play of caroleigh.deneen, oddss, l_stodal and me, this new wonderful badge has been created for being flexible enough to turn the physical event in 2020 into a virtual event. And everyone, who conducted their event virtual, get the new Event Remaker 2020 badge. Easy to remember this remarkable event year.

But of course, these are not the only event badges out in SAP Community. In addition, we still have the SAP Stammtisch, the SAP Inside Track, the ABAP Event and the UI5con badge (find all event badges here & filter for Events Missions). If you have been an organizer, volunteer, or a speaker at a virtual edition of the just mentioned events, you have received the usual badge for it, too.
And there is the SAP Online Track. This event was just a blast and it was even initiated before the pandemic spread around the world. You may have already noticed that everyone, who was part of the SAP Online Track received the SAP Online Track badge.
In case you didn't know: this new event form has been offered to the whole community and it’s still possible to organize an SAP Online Track and earn the badge. I recommend getting in contact with rsletta and uxkjaer first ?
