Hi All,

Does anyone worked on this method Z_SERV_DESK_MESS_ON_ALERT?

I have assigned this method for an mte for monitoring batch jobs, so if any job is cancelled this method will generate a service dek message.

I want to know if we assign this method to any mte how does the service desk messages created?

and where can we see those messages ?

Tripti,

You have to create a RFC as mentioned in the method, then it will work.

Hi Naveen,

Its working for me without definig the RFC, coz you can choose "Any server" option also.

SD tickets are generating for me now.

Now the problem is the tickets generating are not with full information like sold to party and support team are not coming in the ticket.

the requirement is to generate a ticket with all the information filled in that ticket automatically so that it can directly go for the normal process.

can you suggest something?

Hi Tripti,

For changing the standard content of the method you have go for customization of the method "DSWP_ALERTS_SLF_MSG_SUBMIT".

I guess this is the only possible way.

one more thing what parameters i can define to get the job details also in the message for which the ticket is generated.....
