xlsx file with more than 26 columns - empty column

Hi all,

I want to create an information space based on xlsx file with more than 26 columns. The thing is that the system adds automatically an empty column between the 26th and 27th (see in configuration tab after having uploaded it in Explorer). Then it causes problem when indexing. It does not occur when working with an xls file format but I can not use xls because of the rows limitation.

Did someone get the same issue ? Is this a bug ?

Any help is appreciated !

Hello Alexandra,

I had a look to this issue and yes you are correct, I am also able to replicate the problem.

This is a bug and will be fixed in new patch4.7 for BI4.0

This patch should be out by end of this month.
