Hi All,
We have two J2EE cluster nodes on the XI 7.0 server.
As mentioned in the SAP help With each server node, a new instance of the defined XI communication channels is created.
And hence the channels execute on both the cluster nodes in parallel.
This causes problems in the sender system , as each sender channel polls in parallel at different timings and sends files twice to the receiver system.
Is there any way we can force the XI channel to run on only one cluster node just to avoid parallel processing.
Is there any way ,on XI server side (setting any config. parameters)to make one cluster node primary and only if the resources are not available then use second cluster node.
Please help.
Thanks,
Shweta.
Hi Shweta,
As far as I know there is no way you can determine on which node request should process, but you need to make sure that time of polling should not be exactly same on both the nodes.
If it is then I suggest you to raise OSS message with SAP.
