Xcelsius 2008 Fix Pack 3.4 (FP 3.4) installation error

Hi,

I have Xcelsius 2008 Enterprise FP 3 running on XP 32-bit with Office 2010 just fine.

However when I try to install FP3.4 I'm getting the error: "Xcelsius 2008 requires adobe flash player 9,151 or later". I've confirmed I've flash 10,2,153,1 installed.

Any ideas?

Probably a stupid question, but why are Fix packs still being released if Dashboards 4.0 is the upgrade to Xcelsius?

Service packs are considered major releases in contrast to that of fix packs are considered minor releases, contains a collection of patches or bug fixes, but mostly does not contain any enhancements or additional features. So 3.4 is a fix pack addressing to the current issue with the available Service Pack. 4.0 is a next release.

I modified the MSI file as per http://thesoftshops.com/blog/tips-for-installing-xcelsius-2008-with-office-2010 and it all worked fine!
