I have a large ammount of messages in XBT0* queues getting piling up in SMQ2

XBTO2___0006                   797

XBTO2___0007                   808

XBTO2___0008                   852

XBTO2___0009                 1.036

XBTO3___0000                 1.098

XBTO3___0001                   945

they are stopped being processed too - what should we do to have normal message processing , why do we have such behaviour with queues?

Hi Mate,

I did find one failed message under error column and rest with Schedule status in message status overview (Adapter Engine). After re-sending the failed message all message got the delivered status.

However, XBT0* queues are still with same count with running status in SMQ2

Hi Ashish,

Report RSQIWKEX can be used to re-execute failed queue entries as per SAP Note 813029 Automatic processing of failed XI messages

Hi Mate,

This job is already running on the system. However, the XBTO* queues are in RUNNING status. So report ,RSQIWKEX has no effect on these queues as this is only for failed queues.

Hi Ashish,

Check the first messages in the queue to see their status(most likely failed) since they are blocking the other messages.

Mate
