Hello WW experts

I have built a very simple workflow with only the user decision step where i have put the agent as the workflow initiator.

After activating the workflow a warning occurs which says the the task in the user decision step has np agent assignment.

On executing the workflow ,it goes into the error and does not generate the workflow.

Thanks

Sabyasachi

Hello,

Reason for the same is ,No possible agents are assigned initially to an SAP task or an SAP workflow. You can perform this assignment in Customizing.Which task you are using in Decision step. Is it a Custom or standard. You can use task TS00008267 for the same or in case your task is custom, make it as a general task.

Hi vikram

I am not assigning any task to my user decision step

.I have just populated the title, agent, decision texts.

I am getting a warning after activation which says the task for the step does not have an agent assignment.

After executing it returns error.

Thanks

Hello

Sabyasachi ,

I just tested once just by creating new workflow with only decision step with out giving any agent.

I executed the workflow no errors or warnings yet all.

when you don't give any agent , decision will be sent to all the users in the same client you are using.

As you said you gave workflow_initiator , it should work properly .

check once again the agents assigned or i suggest to create a new workflow and it will work as expected.

Thanks,

Brahmam.

Hello,

Please check in SWU3 . "Classify decision task as general". option. Please execute the same to marked it as green.

Hello,

"I am not assigning any task to my user decision step"

One was assigned automatically. Look in the various tabs of the step (e.g. Control).

You have to set this TS task to General Task in e.g. PFTC

Additional data -> Agent assignment -> Maintain

Button Atributes

Marking "General Task"

Hi,

As vikram suggested, Make sure you have executed this activity in the woirkflow customization. Since as you mentioend that you are using a standard decision step then you wont have any chance to assign a custom task, so make sure Classification of general task activity is executed in SWU3 transaction.
