Workflow error: B1 278 IDOC XXXXX: Status 53 cannot be processed

Dear all,

User processed work item A via workflow inbox. Once user clicked save/post the Idoc, idoc get posted successfully but a message was generated (Message # B1 278 : IDOC XXXXX: Status 53 cannot be processed).

This message can be ignored and user proceeds to process the 2nd work item. However, the work item A still remain on screen/inbox until screen was refreshed. It takes longer time to refresh the screen and it is seriously impacting the productivity.

Why there is a return message B1 278 after Idoc posted successfully and how to resolve it?

Thanks.

Regards,

CN

Hi Pavan,

Yes. I checked on the Idoc and no one locks it. This error only happen to a same category of workitems/idocs (non PO invoices). Other than this category, no issue at all.

we tried to process the idoc in BD87 instead of workflow. It also generates the same status "53" with Message # B1 278 : IDOC XXXXX: Status 53 cannot be processed) but document is actually posted successfully. Any idea? Thanks in advance.
