Work Item Shortcut Attachment Issue on SAPGUI 730

Hi

I am using standard SAP program - RSWUWFML2 to send Work item to external mail as an Executable Attachment.

Please share if you have faced similar issue. Also do we have any SAP notes for this.

If we have SAPGUI 730 installed and we open the attachment OK button is disabled and I am not able to proceed further.

Whereas if we have SAPGUI 720 there is no issues and we can log in successfully.

Thanks,

Pawan

Hello,

"I am using standard SAP program - RSWUWFML2"

It's not SAP-standard any more, it is obsolete. You should replace it with Extended Notifications.

Hello Rick,

Thank you for your reply. I found extended notification difficult to understand so can you please let me know can we restrict extended notification- SWNCONFIG for specific Workflow task / Workflow template. Also could you please share document on how to use this tcode if you have any.

Can we use SWNADMIN as mentioned in below link changing delivery type to email.

Hello,

Extended Notifications looks complicated at first, but after you have done it once then it's relatively easy.

With filtering you can restrict the notifications to any number of TS tasks.

Some people say it's easier to use SWNADMIN, I prefer using SWNCONFIG. I think it was Jocelyn who suggested that you use SWNCONFIG for the initial set-up in the DEV system and SWNADMIN for the changes necessary in each specific client.

The blog entry is in regard to sending SMSs; Extended Notifications is usually used for emails instead.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Rick,

I have used Extended management now to send workitems to external mail. But still same problem

exists with the Shortcut. It has OK button disabled as mentioned above.

Can you please suggest is there any other way to resolve it.

Thanks,

Pawan
