Work flow is not getting triggered in production system

Hi Experts,

We have an issue with ESS application for Learning and development:

When the user is cancelling the training booked the request is not going to manager to approved it. For this Workflow WS90000003 is being used. We cheked in there system this WF had not been triggered since long time at the same time this WF is getting triggered in QAS system.

We asked them to check if any configuration change in production, but they replied no.

So my questuion is how to check why this WF is not getting triggered in Production and how we can resolve this issue?

Hi,

You need to checkout for event mapping in header part of your workflow.

If no event is mapped then you have to map it. And then try it out.

Starting event is already mapped in both QAS and Production

Hi,

Try to clear buffer with transaction swu_obuf or logoff and login again into system.

Then you can check in transaction SWUE transaction that EVENT is triggerd for particular BO.

If it works then it should work in production system.

Hi,

that is the problem that in production this WF template is not getting called, I checked in SWIA.

My question is why it is not getting called at the same time it is triggerd from QAS.

Hello,

Have you checked in SWEL in Production if the expected event is being created? If so, what else does the event log say, did it find a receiver?
