Hello,
we did just move two old customer databases from 6.0.4.x under windows 2000 to 10.0.1.4xxx on a windows 2008R2 server.
The whole process did work fine, dbunload worked fine.
But now we have the problem, that dbremote can't read the (still required) old logfiles to send messages.
In other posts it was referenced that the dboftsp.dll might be required to read pre 10 logfiles.
Looking at the install folder, I did find that dll in the X64 folder. In the win32 folder, we don0t have such a file.
And since dbremote.exe only exists as a 32bit app, it can probably not load the x84 dll.
Are my observation correct ? If yes, can I just drop a 32bit dboftsp.dll from a workstation in the i386 folder ?
André
Ok,
I did now copy over the dboftsp.dll file from a 32 bit workstation, and it works just fine.
