Hi,

This code works fine from my computer ,

when I create a Dynpage and place this JavaScript in it . it doesn't work .

what im trying to do is to open the c: folder of the user ...

Perhaps you need to make an http alias in the Web AS. This way the content does not have to be within the file structure of the web application server.

Jan,

If you are trying to access a file in the user's hard drive, that is explicitly prohibited and you will get an 'access denied' error. A signed applet or an activex component should be able to do this.

its working fine me.

in your case slashes are different that is the problem do like that.

shouldn't it be window.open("File:///C:/");

I mean with three slashes after file.
