Hi,
When i am running report in web, the "last data update" is coming blank. Its value is not getting displayed.
Kindly help on this, why its value is blank.
With thanks and regards

Hi Mukul,
have you tried to execute the template with a totally different query? Does it work?
Depending on the architecture of your data model you might face problems using last data update. If you build the query on a multiprovider with several infoprovider you will face this problem:
Some more information may be helpful.

Hi,
I have made this query on multiprovider built on many cubes(standard and also planning cubes).
While running the report I am not making any selections. But daily one process chains (containing may others eg. each for orders, deliveries, invoices) for loading the data into these cubes.
Is it so when I run the report based on multiprovider containing only one cube will give the "Last data update" information??
With thanks and regards
Mukul
Hi Mukul,
although your process chain is loading data on same day into all of these cubes the last data update will not work because there are several datas and time stamps (one for each cube).
If you absolutely have to display "last data update" I would try i.e. the following workaround. However it is a bit extraordinary but I can imagine it is implemented quite fast:
Build one (small) dummy query directly on top of one of your infoprovider. Be aware that the query always displays a valid combination (if it displays "no data" it does not make sense at all). Include this query in your template and do the data binding to the "last data update" to this DP. This way you should be fine. As mentioned above this is however just a (quick and dirty) workaround but if you absolutely have to display the information...
Brgds,
Marcel
