Which are more stable Database should i use for Solman 7.1 installation?

Hi,

I not sure about what database are more stable for Solution Manager 7.1,

Please if you experts can give me a advise about that i'll really appreciative.

My current dev. enviroment is in Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 sp1

now i'm use Sybase ASE option for installation, but i thought in maxDB.

Hi Carlos

Any supported DB should be stable. I wouldn't go for maxDB to be honest. SAP will be pushing Sybase ASE instead so it's better to get experience in Sybase ASE at this moment in time compared to maxDB.

If you have stability problems on Sybase ASE, I would suggest you try to solve those stability problems.

Each DB has it's pros and cons but that shouldn't cause your Solution Manager to run unstable.

Use DB2 more stable and very easy administration.
