When change SAC story variables GL account hierarchy is no longer expanded in table

Hello,

In my last post I had a similar issue creating a SAC story table with GL account hierarchy, but I could solve it (SAC story table does not save GL Account Hierarchy Structure using CDS view).

We are trying to create balance sheet and P&L reports in SAC, based on S4HANA Standard CDS views (our system is the SAP S/4HANA 1909 On-Premise with embedded BW without any BI CONT installed) and we are using Live Data Connection.

The standard CDS view we are using is C_Trialbalanceq0001 with query 2CCFITRIALBALQ0001. This query has input parameters, so in SAC story we have variables to fill.

We build a table with a hierarchy filter in G/L Account field as rows and calculations with measures as columns. To have the pretended table structure we open some hierarchy nodes and sort que measures and saved the story.

Now what is happening is when we change the variables all table structure is change. The hierarchy is no longer expanded, and columns sort is no longer as it was when we save de story.

Can please someone tell us why this is happening and how we can fixed?

Best Regards,

Margarida Castro

Hi,

When you change the values in the Input Variables in the table, is it bringing all the measures present in your SAC model? (Apart from the measures you actually have in table)

Best option would be report a bug via SAP Support inicident.

Thanks,
