Hi folks:
"Every LIS communication structure that is used to fill an extract structure is assigned to an **include structure*** in the extract structure"
here ,what deos "include structure " refer to???
Hi Guixin,
Generally datbase table contains some fields..But we can Include structure directly into database table by using Include statement..
Example: Let us suppose take a structure Telephone (it contains land number , mobile number , extension)..And you need same fields info in many tables then instead of adding each field to individual tables ..You can directly INCLUDE this telephone structure..So that all fields will be included..
Don't forget to assign points,If it is useful..
Further queries always welcome..

Fields in transfer structure can be a sub-set of fields in extract structure. Comm-structure does not have anything to do with the extract structure.
Also, comm structure is in the BW system and extract structure is defined in the source system. Multiple BW systems can be connected to one source system.

thank you.
fields in extract structure should be a subset of fields in communication structure, that is to say, amount
of field in extract structure is less than communication structure, so ,why extract structure could include comm structure?
Reply:
Hi guixin...actually communication structure linked up with BW infoobjects in the cube or ods.so suppose your communciation structure contains (40 fields)..
Idea is from R/3 extract structure (MAY contain 100 fields from them you will be using only 40)..so you can hide remaining at r/3 and replicate it to BW and linkup with communication struture through-->PSA/TRansfer rules/transfer structure..
Hope it clears you...
