SAP Build Process automation does not yet support restoring an older version of a project if the project contains a decision. I don't see an item in the roadmap for this either.
What tactic do you use to restore a project with a decision? Are there any known workarounds?
Request clarification before answering.
I usually create a different project containing the decision rules and the process visiblity scenario's.
In my automations I call them by using using the API.
This way, I can always downgrade the Decision Rules project.
I also started doing this for a different reason, I wanted to hand over the decision rules to business key users, so they could maintain the rules themselves. But I didn't want them to be able to edit the process and its automations itself. This is why I mostly have different projects for both.
Kind regards
Jana

Thanks Jana. I understand that you have quarantined the Decision artifacts in a different project. This allows for restoring the rest of the project. I am primarily interested in restoring the project containing Decisions. Is there a way to restore a project with Decisions to a previous state? It not about deploying a previous version, I want to make changes from a previous version as a catastrophic change was done later.
