What are dbsupport.ini, submissions.ini & sadiags.xml?

Hello,

Under Ubuntu (don't know about Windows), upon shutdown of all three servers in an HA system we get dbsupport.ini, submissions.ini & sadiags.xml in the directory from which we run the launch script; what are these?

Hi Volker - right after I replied above a server in my "HA system" crashed. (That in itself is worrisome because there was no activity at all accessing any of the servers, so why the crash?) But my question here is I got this message:

"Sorry, the program dbserv17 closed unexpectedly. Your computer does not have enough free memory to automatically analyze the problem and send a report to the developers."

Can you comment on this and suggest "how much" memory is required to prevent this problem. (It was running with four databases on one server and four on another, plus the Arbiter in a VM with 4GB RAM).

Sorry, I can't tell that.

See the dbsupport utility. You might set the SADIAGDIR to store those files in a different directory.
